PAST CHURCH ACTIVITIES
Christmas Cards from First Pres
The music program is selling Christmas cards featuring details of the stained glass windows from our very own sanctuary. The cards are blank on the inside and can also be used for general purpose greeting cards. They would make great gifts! Cards are $10 for a package of 10, sold in the parlor after worship. Or you can contact Gretchen Anderson 683-9236.

Devotion in Motion
Like to dance? Join us for our new group, Devotion in Motion, as we dance and move to the Glory of God! This group, open to young adults and teens (male and female), will practice together and contribute to worship at both the contemporary and traditional worship services. Don't know how to dance? No problem. We'll teach you! Contact Pastor Fran (269-683-7600) for more details. Check out YouTube videos of Devotion in Motion.
Exploratory Contemporary Worship Deemed a Success!
The average attendance for June and July of the new contemporary worship service was approximately 35 people, (average attendance at the traditional worship service was about 95). With 25% of our congregation showing sustained interest in the contemporary worship, we think this is a viable ministry that needs to be supported. Talk to your session members or Worship and Sacraments Team members for a synopsis of how the contemporary worship impacts our other church ministries. We are interested in your ideas for practical compromises we can make so that this worship service best serves our congregation and our efforts in community outreach.
Contemporary Service Continues Through September
Thanks to a special gift to support the Contemporary Worship, we are able to continue the contemporary worship service in Fellowship Hall until the end of September. Thank you, David Lawrence, for continuing to lead this worship!
